Crystal Coat
She carries the vision of a crystal coat – a spectral trench kissed by light, echoing the sensation of glass against skin. This piece is not the final form, but a glimmer along the path. A first incarnation of what she longs to one day bring fully into being.
When Lay saw diamond fractal graphic pattern by Juraj Straka, she recognized the shimmer of that dream. He translated it into a radiant textile: hand-embellished with metallic foils, layers of luminescence, and hours of quiet devotion.
The result is a singular creation – part garment, part phenomenon. A piece made to move, to dazzle, to refract. Performance wear for the luminous ones.
2025 JS Textile studio & Hedva CZECH BROCADE
Golden Affair
This luminous brocade – born from a visual score by artist Juraj Straka and brought to life on the looms of HEDVA Czech Brocade – was created exclusively for the anniversary edition of Helping Dolls, a renowned Czech charity event.
Lay composed six archetypal relics from this fabric of meaning – silhouettes drawn from the sacred geometry of her brand's DNA. Among them, her signature two-piece corset cut – a structural poem in fabric – stands as an intimate invention. Each piece is a distilled echo of her journey: elemental, sculptural, and quietly radiant. A gesture of devotion, made to give.
2023 JS Textile studio
OPART SS '23
This marked the very first time a printed textile by artist Juraj Straka appeared in LAY's collection. His signature op-art patterns — full of rhythm, play, and vibrant geometry — were combined with a soft, gold-lurex-threaded fabric, resulting in a dress that feels both bold and ethereal.
The silhouettes, fluid yet sculptural, were captured through the lens of photographer Anna Koniaeva, highlighting their movement, lightness, and visual power.

Trench Coat JS
This unique piece was created as part of a special collaboration between LAY and textile artist Juraj Straka, whose visual language explores bold geometry and symbolic color. When Juraj launched his own brand at @fest1val.eu, he invited Lay to co-create an art trench coat based on her iconic silhouette.
Juraj designed and positioned the textile motifs, and Lay brought the coat to life with precision tailoring and her signature sculptural finish. Together they created a wearable art piece that merged their two worlds – bold, refined, and unforgettable.

Wedding Editorial
A dialogue between history and bold modernity — where Prague’s iconic elegance meets a fresh burst of citrus-toned florals, vibrant paper accents, and sleek tailoring. Lay’s couture dress, with its luxe textures and contemporary silhouette, anchors this vibrant vision, bringing romance and refinement into perfect harmony.
The entire editorial was beautifully captured by photographer Sandra Raev, whose lens brought this vivid wedding dream to life.
2024 INA.T
Wedding & Cocktail Dress
Ina T. – the most renowned Czech fashion critic, known for her refined taste and eye for detail – has followed work of Lay since the very beginning. Back in 2012, while Lay was still a student, Ina reached out with a wish to wear one of her pieces to a special event. Over the years, their connection evolved into a natural collaboration – Ina became an ambassador of Lay’s coats, effortlessly carrying them into the public space with elegance and presence.
One of Lay’s quiet wishes had always been to create a wedding dress for Ina – and in 2024, that dream came true. She designed a unique bridal look: a generous gown with couture softness, accompanied by a cocktail dress made from dotted tulle. Their collaboration was truly special – rooted in mutual trust and Ina’s deep ability to recognize the value embedded in Lay’s work.

Wedding Minicollection
In 2018, Lay designed a limited wedding mini collection in collaboration with the most renowned bridal atelier in South Moravia. As a young designer, she boldly approached their professional team with a proposal for collaboration – and together they brought to life five unique looks shaped by her distinctive touch.
